When growing indoors plant training may just be the most important aspect of increasing yield and quality of your buds. There are many diffrent techniques including LST, topping/fiming,super cropping, lollypoping ECT. This thread is for mainlining/manifolding. I'd suggest getting comfortable with LST and topping before attempting this.

***Step 1. Wait till your plants are at the 3-5 nodes I like to wait until I get 2 full sets of leafs. Even though you have 5 nodes cut her down at the 3rd so she's thicker and stronger.

***Step 2. Take the two nodes and tie them down to make the T shape to make your sturdy base for the frame to come.
[Tip: When mainlining symmetry is everything. Try and keep both sides equal and even as much as possible.]

***Step 3. After to have trained the two main stalks out around 6-8 inches from the main stem let them start to grow upward. At this point you can decide to let her grow out or top both mains again and repeat the process. Remember every time to do this you multiply your main colas.
Tip. Personally for autos I top the two mains twice more to get 8 large colas. This method dosent increase overall yield. It gives you massive colas instead of a bunch of little to mid size colas.

In conclusion top your plant at the 3rd node when you reach 5 nodes and tie down the new mains into a T shape. Then keep tieing them down while letting them recover and reach upward toward the light. Once your around 6-8 inches away from the main stem let them grow verticly and repeat the process as many times as desired while cutting off lower growth focusing the plants energy upward toward the new mains. And remember Symmetry is everything. The one photo with the X's shows where to cut the lower and undesired growth off.
Any other questions feel free to ask I will answer.

Now that sounds more like it !!! I seen the Green Crack Pics .... Nice, I need to try that strain. You sound like me with all the tents & lights. You upgraded a lot also I'm guessing.
I've been selling off most of my old stuff lately & only keeping a small Seedling / Clone Tent & my 5' x 10' tent. Just not enough room to keep holding on to it all. I've read some good reviews on the Bloombeast lights. I'm wanting to add a 3rd P900 or a KIND XL1000 for my next grow.... hopefully I can swing it.
Too late to switch to 3 gal. pots. Started seeds in the 5 gal. on the 1st & all have sprouted so I'll leave them alone for this grow. I'm kind of having fun with the grow I just started because it's 6 different Auto's, 2 photo's & a Re-Veg photo Big Bud all at the same time in the same tent. The photo's & Re-Veg should fill the tent when they go into flower after an 8 - 10 week Veg waiting for the Auto's to finish. Probably end up Topping 4 - 5 times. Those would be great to do the manifold thing on.
Got me wondering if these 6.6 gal. Auto Pots I've been buying are going to be too big. I bought 1 of the 2 pot systems so far but was planning to get 2 more sets of 2 soon. Was planning a 6 pot Auto-Pot grow for next time also. Already bought a 45L per hour pump & Air Domes for the ones I have. Just trying different things to see what I like & what kind of yields I get.
Yea I'm always upgrading and switching up my grows. I use the 2x4 for seedlings the 4x4 for overflow plants and my 8x4 is my main tent. I've gone back and forth through every medium including rockwool. Coco is my favorite. This time of year im overwhelmed by all the plants. With all my outdoor plants getting started indoors and whatnot and keeping track of what plants get which nutrients. For me 5 gallon pots are overkill for an auto I'll use a 5 gallon for a outdoor photoperiod or a mother plant but other than that it's to big. I have 2 gallon air pots that give me huge plants. But 3 gallon fabrics are my go to. Plus soil and coco gets exspensive with 20+ plants and I'd rather have two plants in 3 gallon pots than 1 plant in a 5-6 gallon pot. And I like a faster dry back period for healthier roots. I know alot of people that use autopots and get great results. I'd rather use a drip irrigation drain to waste myself. But everyone's setup is diffrent and have diffrent obstacles to overcome. I'm obsessed with upgrading and trying new thing. I got my eye on the oxypot superflow xl for somthing new to try.

This is the 1st time I used 5 gal. pots on Auto's. I usually use regular plastic 2 - 3 gal. pots .... but like you .... wanted to try something different.
Wish I knew how to Tag you for my journal :"Buds Buddy's 1st Grow Journal". My 1st grow in Coco & I'm expecting trouble somewhere along the way. Be nice to have an experienced Coco Grower along to get advice from. Been growing about 2 years. Just 1st time in Coco.
Sounds like you have a jungle going on. Wish I could do that, but not where I live.

To tag me put @Tyler_Durden88 in a comment on your thread. Like I've said countless times on this network everyone's grows are diffrent and require diffrent things some people need 5 gallon pots to hold more moisture for longer periods of time. I also transplant my autos wich alot of people dissagree with. I get faster growth early on by starting in a Styrofoam cub and then transplanting when I got 2-3 nodes and the plant has a big enough root system to support it. Autos dampen off easily so big pot little plant don't work to well.

Yea I'm running out of space very fast it's getting to be a pain training all of them. And I got seedlings stuck in everywhere I can find a gap of light. Coco coir can be tricky if your not familiar with it. The main thing is sourcing the right stuff. Like Canna coco, good nutrients, clean water and right instruments.

Darn Nice L@@king Grow !!!
I bought 2 of the 5 kg. Botanicare Coco Bricks. Took 75 gallons of pH 5.8 water to bring the pH up to 5.8. It started out 5.0 . After it dried a few days I put 5 gallons of CalMag water through it pH 5.8 . A day before planting my seeds I poured 1 gallon of 1/4 strength Nutes through each pot. I use Advanced Nutrients: Coco Grow A & B, Piranha, VooDoo Juice, B-52, & Sensi CalMag Plus right now.
What's your thoughts ?
I know everyone's grow is different. But you seemed to have tried a lot of ways so I'm sure you've done something similar.
I'm using 2 - Advanced Platinum P900's & 1 Viperspectra 450 watt for lighting. I'll replace the Viperspectra with a 3rd P900 or KIND XL1000 next grow.
Doing 9 plants in a 5' x 10' x 7' tent.
Thoughts ??? Tips ??? Especially Feeding tips as far as how much it will take & how often to feed in order to keep the Coco moist enough. This is one thing I'm really unsure about. My temps stay 77 - 79 F with 50 - 60% RH.

Sounds like you know what your doing. The way you prepared your coco is exactly how I do it with diffrent brands than canna. Your lighting sounds sufficient and If used AN sensi for a long time with great results and you got the coco blend wich alot of people forget to buy. 1/4 strength is what I run at also and add some when the plants look like they need it. But one thing I found is their calmag Xtra has alot of nitrogen in it and combining it with the B-52 that also has a small amount of nitrogen is way to much together and gives nitrogen toxicity. I had to switch back to botonicare calmag plus bc it's got less nitrogen in it. And go easy on the supplements. You are gonna wanna give your plant everything it needs and fret over every detail being as it's your only one and first auto. They need a little adversity sometimes to overcome to keep them growing strong and fast. If the conditions are to ideal they will slow down and go idle. As far as watering I feed 1/2 gallon a day to them when they are bigger and every other day when smaller depending on pot size. It's hard to over water coco with a 50/50 perilite mixture.

Not sure if I know what I'm doing or not. Was told to Flush the Coco til it came back 5.8 pH & then add CalMag & Pre-Charge the Coco. I'm guessing pre-charge meant adding some nutes to the Coco to get things started.
My plants got them adversity yesterday for sure. House AC went out & tent hit 88 F & stayed that way for about 16 hours. Got it fixed this morning. Sucks because I had to spend $350 to get it fixed out of the money I was saving for my 3rd P900. Plants look fine though. Guess I have to grow 3 extra oz. to cover that $350 ... LOL.

Lol I hear that. And when you precharge your coco what your doing is filling up the CEC sites with calmag so it dosent leech it from your nutrients. Also I helps flush out any impurities from the manufacturing process.
