Mac N Jelly and Jelly Breath s1:

Week 9
Shit is winding down and this journal is about done. I could do a smoke report on these if anyone wants. Otherwise ill keep updating until jellybreath is dried, and about cured. If i start another journal, ill end up making one big journal documenting everything, instead of these seperate ones.

All wrapped up with this one. Of course a week into the cure, and were already smoking her, lol. First impression is she leaks resin when smoked from a blunt, has sort of a gassy/meaty smell, and tastes good on the exhale. I can try to give a smoke report the best i can to anyone interested. Other than that, this is the end of the road for this journey on Mac N Jelly.

Started getting flushed on Tuesday. Shes really filled out and i anticipate a bigger yield from this one in comparison to the Mac N Jelly. I would say in regards to comparison on trichomes, i think mac and jelly has her beat. Ill be interested in seeing if i find any seeds or not. Any calyxes ive squeezed havent produced anything out of them. Shell get the chop on Monday the 23rd, then ill move the ones from my veg tent into the flower tent. Im hoping the clones im attempting to propagate for the 1st time, actually start producing roots.
As of Tuesday the clones are starting to produce roots!

( I was away on vacation last week, and forgot to post this.)

Week 10
Quick review on the grove bags is that i think they work pretty good and are better than a bunch of jars. I guess youre supposed to heat seal them, but i didnt as i want to use them again. Overall, I still stand by the notion that a good dry equals a better cure.

Chopped on monday night, we went on vacation Tuesday morning. So this will be on autopilot for a week. Worries me a little bit, but im sure itll be ok based on how ive dried before. Just sticking to how i do it, and putting confidence into that. The humidifier is set at 55% RH and never runs out during the drying phase. This in turn should have the environment in the 60% range. Its usually different the first few days compared to the last as everything is drying more, so thats why i set the humidifierat 55% instead of 60%. Temperature should be between 60-68°.
So with this being on autopilot, ill give an educated guess and say:

RH: 60% range
Temp: 60-68° F range.

I'm in the middle of trimming her right now and will post final weight when I'm finished.

Looking forward to a smoke report. I ran some in house it was all good minus the hermie on both of same strain I can’t remember which was tasty fire lol double Kush Breath h which looked great but was just ok smoke.

Right on. I'll give a report here in a week or so. Yea, this run gave me hell early in flower and I'm glad to be done with it. If they don't hermie they can be fire for sure, but I've also read about how the terps aren't there or the smoke wasn't as good as it looked. I didn't give a report on the Mac N Jelly but she wasn't bad. I wasn't over the moon over her but she got the job done. She's almost all gone now. Inherm will take a backseat to some other gear and clones I'll run for the time being.

All done with the trimming. It took longer as i did it myself this time, and havent been using the bowl trimmer. I feel i lose weight when i use it because smaller buds get chewed on and fall through the grate below. On the other hand i get more trim out of it. Personally, id rather take the bud over the trim. The bigger buds were easiest and the smaller buds were kind of a pain in the ass. Shes got purple pretty much thoughout her, and she is pretty. I have found one under developed seed at this point. Its been giving off kind of a grape and another kind of smell i cant really think of. I wanna almost say anise or something comparable. Almost like the smell of firework smoke. This will be weighed and cured for around 2 weeks. Or until we cave and start to dabble, lol.

Final weight: 3 oz and 7.3 grams. Not bad i suppose...

I'll swing back by and report what the RH is after around 24 hours.

24 hours later pretty much and the RH is only at 56%. Its around the cure zone but id like it to be a little higher. Maybe it will climb with a little more time.

Well its a wrap on this journal. 2 weeks cure has passed and we've already been trying her out. Ive been fighting a sinus infection, but shes definitely got what i described before. Grape, candy, firework powder kind of smoke that basically translates into the taste. She has pretty dense buds that have purple hues throughout them. Shes pretty to look at, and so far ive only found one premature white seed. Pretty crazy considering all the time i spent picking nanners off and spraying her down until i couldnt anymore. The high is strong stoney and laid back. Nothing racy at all in my opinion, which is a good thing.
The RH wasnt quite high enough for my liking so i added a boveda pack to each bag. Now the RH is up to 60%. I usually try not to use these packs anymore but felt like i had to to help. As of last Tuesday i took them out.
Thanks everyone that took the time to follow along. I'll probably and eventually make another journal sometime down the road. When I do, I'll make it a permanent and perpetual journal.
