Unfortunate with the hermies, I’ve had it happen from in house as well. I consider them pollen chuckers now a days. Bud is usually good but plenty other breeders putting out fire genetics that won’t seed up a tent on ya.

Agreed. They are definitely nothing but glorified pollen chuckers. His non transparency and lack of liability is what has really turned me as well as others, away. They will no longer be getting a dime from me.

Ive had better more consistent results from breeders like Barney’s Farm. Never had one hermie on me.

Week 4

Chugging along now. These 2 probably like the place to themselves. This was my first attempt at running 4 DWC buckets, so ironically im back down to 2 which is what I've always ran before. Im already estimating in my head the final yield and i assume it will be fairly typical of what inhouse is known for on most of its gear that makes it to harvest. Smaller buds and smaller yields. Hopefully that will make up in quality, as well as atleast some density. After all the shit ive gone through with these, Im just ready to get these harvested and have some partially seeded summer time smoke. Im assuming theyll be done around 4 more weeks.

The best looking one of the two right here. Nice frost coming in on the leaves, and shes really taking in the water. Could still be cleaned up a little bit on the bottom, but i sort of backed away on that right now. Shes got a couple spots where there are clusters of bud sites which look pretty cool and i did plan on keeping those. Based on her pistils i think shell be the one to finish up first

At this point i think this one is actually going to make it. Shes got some frost going on but not as much as her counterpart. Could also use some cleaning up, but ill have to be gentle. I think if im too heavy handed is when the nanners come out. This strain is very finicky, and thats if it even makes it to this point without being culled. Looking at her buds i have doubts about how dense shell get. The issues shes had and being partially pollinated i feel puts a damper on her.

Week 5

Hope everyone had a great 420!
Onto week 5 and i am starting to wonder when I'll finish these off. We go out of town next month so i have some options. That is either to harvest them after were back, harvest before and let them dry in the flower tent while were gone, or harvest/dry then cure while were gone. Personally id rather not let them be in cure while were gone. I did just get some grove bags but am not familiar with how they operate exactly. I guess if anything id rather chop them right up to the day we go out of town, and make sure my tent maintains the right RH and temperature as close as possible for the 6 days were gone. I like drying for 7. By the time this is posted i will be hoping to already be using MOAB to give them a final push and get them to the finish line perhaps faster. I know everything pertains to a persons choice when it comes to amber trichomes and i like mine in between 15-25%

Now this is where I'll give inhouse genetics some props. This is when things can turn out nice. As mentioned before I wish the other one wouldve survived, but this might be one id roll the dice on again. Although she wont be a big yielder, she looks beautiful and smells great. Her leaves are turning purple and the fall colors are coming out. Even some of the fans are purple and frosty at the base. I definitely love looking at her. Her trichomes are also getting to be more milky. So this also adds to the question of when to take them. Id rather take them together but i really dont have to. I could take this one before the other and let her dry in my closet as thats what i usually do anyways.

Still has a good amount of white hairs going on. Checking her trichomes showed me she still has some clear ones going on, and some time on her fans (hands). I must say i am not really too impressed with her overall trichome coverage. I hope pushing her with the MOAB will help get her to finish faster but we'll see. I picked at a calyx a little bit to see if there was a developing seed and i didnt see one. I could leave her longer and dry the other one, but i like to get everything harvested at once if i can. If i cant, then I'll plan accordingly.

Week 6
Were nearing the end. There were thrills, chills, and spills. Ended up with 4 now we have 2. One will go before the other. I also just recently purchased some grove bags so i cant wait to see how these work.

Officially got flushed, as of Wednesday. Its based more on time not trichomes, BUT the trichomes are cloudy, and as of Tuesday im just starting to see hues of amber come in on the top colas. Her smell is what id describe as a funky fruity smell. The harvest window is open and i need to time this shit out for less worry while out of town. Leaves are dropping, turning colors, and she is beyond milky. The leaves that are falling off have sort of a lemon lime smell. I did add some MOAB with some flower nutes last weekend just to give one final push. She will be flushed for 4 days and chopped. I'll hang her whole for 7 days then trim. I'll cure her for 2 weeks up until we head out of town.

Her end is near too, but shes still hungry. Leaves have just started changing purple and i can tell shes bulking up a little more, as well as getting top heavy. Im seeing a mix of clear and cloudy trichomes. Id describe her smell as a sweet candy smell. I started putting MOAB in her regiment as well. The plan will be to chop her right before we head out of town. She'll dry for 6-7 days and we'll trim her when we get back. Just noticed her ph has been dropping. So I've been adding ph up. That tells me I probably just need to add water back and back off on the nutes. I'll be keeping an eye on that. As of Tuesday and Wednesday the ph has held steady

Got the chop Sunday afternoon shortly after the lights turned on. I was sort of sticking to that rule where people leave their lights off for 48 hours before chopping, but i didnt do that this time. With one still having time on its fans/hands it wasnt really possible. Im not sure how much proof goes into all that or if its just bro science. . I tried both ways before and it didnt seem to make a huge difference to me, atleast from what i could tell. Anywho, she will hang whole until next Sunday and will be meeting Mr Fiskars, then I'll try the grove bags out. The closet is 60% RH and last i checked, the temperature registers between 63-68° F. So pretty much spot on for environment so far. I'll keep checking daily to make sure it stays in that range. If i can get it in the cure zone off the bat i will be happy

RH: 60ish%

I know i spent time slamming inhouse, and i still stand by what i said. This one is surprising me though, after all. Shes really putting on the weight, and ill have to put some yoyos on her. I already accidentally snapped one branch, but it didnt break completely. More like super cropped. I probably wont be rotating her lid anymore either. I also have to move a couple fast flowering peanut butter breath from HSO in there before they get too out of hand. Theyre currently on week 6 but theyre getting big. Assuming ill be ok, and dont think i have pollen in the tent that would compromise anything, I planned on just keeping those in the back in opposite corners until jellybreath comes out. Then ill move my other two from veg to flower in a couple weeks. One is a cheetah piss from wolfpack and the other is a bubbah kush from humboldt csi, which im gonna try my hand at cloning for the first time. Jellybreath will be flushed probably on May 18th and then chopped on May 23rd. Being trimmed on memorial day.

Week 8
One down, one to go...
I'm testing out a new product, and I hope these grove bags live up to the hype. It sure is alot easier to use them as opposed to the jars.

Got the trimming done and put her in grove bags on Sunday. Was a pain in the ass to trim. She was leafy, but also sticky which would gum up the fiskars and gloves. Her buds are pretty dense and shes loaded with trichomes. To my surprise I did not find any seeds. I was guessing I'd get 2 zips from her, but it was even less than that. Now we wait it out for 2 weeks to cure. I placed a hygrometer in one bag to see what the RH gets up to.

As of Monday the hygrometer is maintaining an RH of 60%, which is awesome. Although im not sure if I burp the bags or not. I have been anyways.

As of Wednesday RH is 61%

Yield: 1.5 oz.
RH: 61%

Packing on the weight, starting to chunk out, and starting to change colors more on the leaves. I haven't fed her any nutes lately. Ive just been topping her off with R/O H20. Not sure if I'll feed her much or if at all at this point. Cant wait to get her out of the flower tent so i can move my other ones from veg into it. She'll starting getting flushed next week

As of Wednesday: i gave calmag, and base nutes.

Ppm: forgot to check. This is the last week before flush anyways.
