Indoor Lysergik's 4th Grow - Sour Livers + Skywalker Mephisto

Hey guys and gals, this website help me do my first grow exactly a year ago.. I learned a lot since than.. still a noob but I'm a LEARNING noob..

Strains: Sour Livers and Skywalker
Medium: 3 gal cloth with Biobizz light mix
Light : Mars 300 and just added a 50 watt COB LED cheap Chinese version but know people getting good results.. this is just to supplement some light
Tent: 27×27×63
Topped on day 16, LST


So my feed schedule is pretty simple -
I follow Niel from Grow Pot Cheaply's modify Lucas formula flora nova grow and bloom edition with a couple additives.

Flora Nova Grow & Bloom - AN Sensi Cal Mag - AN Carboload - AN Overdrive

Using distilled and RO water.. after nutes added water sits at 5.3 so I PHup to 5.9 to 6.1 .


I got about 35 grams per plant last time with only 1 light and that was with overfeeding.. so my goal here is to get atleast 2 oz per plant seem doable.

I'm starting this a little late but my SL is day 15, I topped her today a little to low but I'm told it will be just fine

Hopefully get 4 colas, as you said, a little higher might have been better but, hey how, they will grow!

Are nutrients age dependent or size dependent.. for instance I was feeding the Livers that was 15 days old, 450 to 500 ppm. But I just topped her and removed like 25% of the top accidentally. the new nodes coming and plant looks a little light green and wondering if increasing the nutes is what I should do to help her heal but I'm not sure that's even athing!!

Here is the plant not even 24 hours after topping, looking at 4 main tops now.. Sour livers stays small so I'm not expecting a giant plant..

I’m a complete beginner so take my words with a pinch of salt... but I do believe rhizotonic is a good stress reliever, I have the canna line of nutes, but I’m sure there’s other brands with similar stuff.

Update: 2 days after topping.. new tops coming in real nicely. Didnt skip a day.

SOUR LIVERS is a killer strain

Also the Skywalker at about 10 days moving along.

Hey bro, as I said before, only really know what I've read, not much experience this end. Can't imagine bloom nutes throughout veg is going to do you any favours to be honest, plants need much higher Nitrogen during veg for leafy green growth, If theyre not getting it I would imagine theyre just going to be a lot smaller then they could be. From what I can gather, you want to be feeding veg nutes till vertical growth stops, are at least until flower starts kicking in proper.
Im guessing carboload is full of carbohydrates, sugars basically, which is a part of what microbes eat, but maybe plants can use it too. Why don't you have any microbes? Feed the soil not the plant is what I want to work towards one day, as Im organic, just dont have the time or space to make my own soils and teas as Im moving around a lot and renting. I would imagine all soil has microbes in it, just to varying degrees, and adding a food source like sugars should only help increase those numbers.
Once again, take everything I say with a pinch of salt! If you have a question just pop it up in the live stoner chat, theres some amazingly experienced people around who will be more than happy to help, and their knowledge is second to none!

The sour livers is a very nice strain she handed nutes really well for me and she can definitely be a big yielding strain I had one put out over 6oz and she has an amazing blueberry smell to her good luck on your grow!

Love to hear that! I believe mine yielded the way they did because it was my first couple of grows.. one yielded 40 oz but the buds were killer.. that fruity berry skunkness is awesome.. I was growing an OG auto before and the Liver definitely has a smell all to her own.
I'm hoping they do some Ripleys OG/ Alien crosses with the Livers cut .. maybe call it Alien Livers or something.. any of mephistos alien crosses grow like weeds from all the journals i watch!

how hard did you push the nutes? Did you ever go above 900ppm?
