hi all does anyone reccomend lst on auto flower i have critical mass and its my first time growing with auto.please help

Yes, LST can be very effective with autos. A lot of strains have the odd bush pheno lurking in their genes that can get pretty tall. LSTing them is a good way to keep an even canopy top or control height in a small grow area.

Does it increases the yield?

thanks im a new grower with auto but have been growing for a while with normal strains.do autos give off a nice yeild with out doing anything to them like lst or topping

Hey green1, that's some good advice from TBM. I tried some lst on my first ER and I messed her up a little and definitely reduced my yield a bit. She's healthy and fine, but stunted because I didn't do the lst right. I guess I did learn from my clumsiness, though. I'm not going to mess with the next one, so I can get a better feel for what she should have been capable of.

IMO the only reason to LST an auto is if you have space limitations. I've tried topping them and didn't see an increase in yield and the plants ended up taking a week + longer while the plants recovered. Since the most common pheno in autos is the single cola with 4-8 side branches LSTing for yield increase isn't very effective.
