You did not say if in ground or in container. If in ground, best is bend to north. You may need to adjust over time as it grows - just move up a node or two. Also, as side branches develop - you may want to tie them down to get good spread away from main cola. Personally, while in a container, I top between 3rd and 4th node at about 20 days and after about another week, tie each new top down at about 33 degrees apart. Add side ties as needed for best circular spread of lower growth. All ties typically can be removed at about 35-40 days. I usually end up with 6-8 good, almost equal colas with a few smaller secondary colas. Spend your time looking for bugs and leaf tucking as needed. Don't over feed or over water!
