I don't hang them upside down, it was just hanging there after the clip broke. He replaced them with the updated version. The new ones are thicker plastic and the screws go through on an angle instead of straight like the old ones. They feel stronger then the old ones

Gotcha, good to know. Mine is upside down if you couldn't tell from the video clip. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks for the info. Worse case I buy another mount and Lil Blizzard and do a normal pole mount in 2 corners. Still will come out as the same price as the AC 9", but better circulation.

I saw the date, but not the price. I kinda want a 9in, but the tent I really need a new fan for is the 2x4. We'll see.
If I had the growroom built in the shop, I wouldn't need any new fans and not the tiny ones for sure. Much better options available in that situation.

I just bought some cheap oscillating fans at Menards. two 16" inch stand fans $15 each and two 12 inch at $10 each.
That shows you how much we are being ripped off because they know it is for growing weed. Pretty much all the fans are crap and don't really last.

I have one of the AC Infinity Cloudray S6 fans and it lasted just under 3 months, running nonstop 24/7.
It was one of the most smooth and quiet fans I have ever used. Very powerful for the size but not sure it will be very dependable. Maybe they will make some changes to the final release and when my replacement gets here I’ll put it through the paces and see what happens.
I have oscillating fans that have lasted 6-7 years and have had no major issues , one is a little noisy but works great. I sleep with a fan year round and if I can find the same model and brand I’m using at home and my lake place for sleeping, I’ll probably try and mount those in my tents somehow.
Recently needing a fan after the ACI bit the dust, I ordered 2 of these 12” oscillating fans and only have one in use right now and even on low it’s very powerful. I’m keeping one for a backup until I can figure out my final tent layout. I have 3 other stationary fans in there now (4x8).

The ones I have for sleeping are 6” Honeywell but not sure on the model , maybe Turbo something or other. I’ll have to check both now lol.

And the fact that the product had to be designed for the cannabis market; is has to work in the cannabis grow environment; everyone in the market today would have been in jail roughly five years ago; the fact that the cannabis market is highly volatile; there are small shipments to a small number of deistributors; and the cannabis tent grower market is maybe in the dozens of thousands.

In contrast, there's little engineering required to make a floor fan and the potential market is massive and has well defined, highly efficient distribution channels.

They do the same thing but they are different products in completely different markets.

An oscillating fan that clips right to a tent pole is a nice feature. Though the prices for a 6" fan are ridiculous. Fans used in grow tents are running 24/7, that's not normal usage for your average fan.
I'm presently using a 6" oscillating clip fan that's been running 24/7 for 7 months, that's a lot of hours.
There's nothing cheap about this hobby.

Amazon ultra yield clip on they work great and are sturdy......they oscillate and blow great...i just bought one and will be buying more plus they are coming out with a 9 inch...hope this helps...
