I hope your right, it would be nice to get a quality fan for the same rate as those white generic one's on amazon.Canna coffee!I still say oscillating 6in will be $49.

Boys, I am going tentless soon so I have a great Panasonic fan that is 25 years old and maybe I will find some good old fans at some garage sales. I just know I will have a lot more options.

I agree, but at the same time, we'll go spend $50 for 3 seeds, and a year later what do you have to show for that $50 lolI couldn't justify $50 for a goddamn 6" fan. I know that I like my AC inline, and they do have great support - so you're paying for that. Give it some time if you can, and others will follow and prices should drop. That's just me though. I'm happy with the $32 = Lil Blizzard 8" and Ramblin Man mount.
Ha! Coincidence, forgot all about this thread. needed an oscillator for my 4x2 since my Hurricane is too big and powerful for it. Didn't want to spend $50 for one either. I just went back to Ramblin Man and got a Lil Blizzard mount and got a Lil Blizzard at Bed Bath and Beyond for like $17 - they always have coupons. Added a CFM bar as a crossmount.

Interesting. He did mention that he had updated this particular mount to be "stronger". It has a little "clip" on the bottom that sort of catches the lip of the fan that I don't see on yours. Not sure what else he did, or can do. But I'll definitely keep an eye on it - thanks for the heads up. I know his mount that holds the beasty Hurricane 12" in my 4x4 has been a champ. Were you hanging the fan upside down? That's what I'm doing. Maybe that's the issue and I should rethink that.Careful. I had one of his mounts snap in my tent. He did replace it but could have been a big problem. The nuts pull through the plasticView attachment 1449300
I don't hang them upside down, it was just hanging there after the clip broke. He replaced them with the updated version. The new ones are thicker plastic and the screws go through on an angle instead of straight like the old ones. They feel stronger then the old onesInteresting.
