Ok I'm changing over to sip buckets and want to know the best soil for this? I'm using mega crop nutes....

I've been using 5gal SIPS all winter with solid success been averaging +/- ~6oz per sip harvest...love me some sips!

My experience has been straightforward and nothing crazy... I use the same dirt I mix for my soil bag grows. 30% organic soil, 30% perlite, 30% SPM... with handfuls of kelp meal and worm castings thrown in as I fill in the bucket.... for SIP's, I line the bottom of the bucket with perlite for draining before I fill with the soil mixture... i love SIPS! hope you do too-good luck!

Thanks I was told the nute line mega crop is salt based...and wouldnt go good with organic living soil...so I guess I'll try something...is spm spang moss? I was thinking about roots organic soil with spang moss and vermiculite and added perlite...what do you think? Thanks for the advice can't wait to see what these sip buckets do....

My approach is starting with medium. Taking water into account, then finding nutes to fit.
there’s a lot of ways to grow man! You’ll love sips! I’m going to grow some sips outdoors as long as I can bury the buckets to near ground level. I 3d printed some sips for my winter garden plants as well. It’s awesome.
