I just store bud in zip lock bags. This probably isn't as good as freezing or jars but I would need too many jars and the freezer is full. Here is some bud that has been in zip lock bags for 3 months. All are still nice and squishy yet dry enough to smoke

I'm in a fairly lucky position at the moment, and also want to put a few ounces away in the freezer long term - my 'pension' I call it. I've already cured in glass jars for at least 6 months & now to be vac-packed & put in the deep freeze. I already do this process with the hash I make. One of the newer 'frost free' freezers is supposed to be the best, according to what I've read. Less damage to the bud I think.
