Living Organic Soil & A Few Autos

Good pic btw .......
Looking super healthy - nice color and shine - good start .....

Thinking you’ll soon be grown over, some might need to go, plus they will be in each other’s way AND there looks to be a few males ..... just to refresh memory these are regular photo seeds, correct?

Also wanted to comment:
I believe the water 10/1 guidance is for dry soil when you are mixing and blending and getting ready to plant not a guide for water amounts while growing as usage will increase as they grow and when young not so much - anyways they look perfect so must be watered correctly or they would droop ....

Keep up the good work.

Thank you brotha! I appreciate the kind words! If you scroll up to the previous post from yesterday, I mentioned the same concern about being overgrown! Was thinking about chopping 2 or 3 of them. But then today I saw this pretty sight and now I'm unsure again, lol.

The 2 plants on right are sour stompers from Mephisto. The 2 plants on the left are of a cross I made using a pack of auto regs I got from Daz at mephisto. So the 2 on the right are are auto regs, and could be male. They haven't shown sex yet. The middle plant is 3 Bears Og from Mephisto.

I'm using the 10% rule because of the living soil bed.. All of this cover crop and all of the cedar mulch, help keep the soil moist. It doesn't take much water to keep it completely damp. At first it felt weird, like I was under watering, but I'm totally convinced now that this is the best watering technique I've used so far. They seem to love it!

Man that looks great... curious if you pay attention to soil temps for keeping worms most active and microbes kicking.
What up brotha! Indeed I do.. This tent stays between 74-78 degrees.. And I also keep the water temps in the same range just to be extra sure. The worms are a vital part of the no till process.

Silly me for even considering getting rid of a plant or two or three, lol.. One great way to learn, is by doing.. So I'm doing it, keeping them all.. I mean, this type of spacing, and worse, happen all the time in nature so it can't hurt.. I'll just try to keep up.

The top left unnamed cross still hasnt shown sex.. That's a good trait to look for if you're ever looking for a plant to breed with. The 3bog in the middle is shooting upwards now. At this raye, it might show sex before the unnamed cross does, lol.

I have no idea how old these plants are, lol. I'll look back and see if I can figure it out.. I know they are staggered though. The 2 sour stompers (left side) are the oldest.. Then the 2 unnamed crosses are about two weeks behind the s.s. And the 3bog is about a week or so behind the unnamed crosses, lol.

Im glad I made the conversion to living soil and no till. I've grown in almost every style/medium, and this by far is my favorite for many reasons. It takes some upfront cost, and a little prep work.. But after that, you really are on auto pilot. You can't really screw this up, lol. And I'd say the results so far speak for themselves.

Lots can change in 6 days, lol. 3 of 5 are in flower mode. The 3bog is slightly behind, but is about to hit full flower mode any day now. The one stubborn unnamed cross STILL hasn't shown sex! Im sure it will be a male, but sheez, it's taking its sweet time!

Meanwhile, Im learning quite a bit about growing multiple plants in the same container. I have done zero training. The plants all know about each other, and seem to be cooperating with each other. They seem to be making room for each other by growing their side branches straight up, as in vertically. The side branching on all 5 plants is completely vertical. I was always taught that roots are as smart as people are, and that they can communicate all sorts of information to each other. Roots can even tell if other cannabis plants were previously grown in the soil you're using. The old myth is that if you plant multiple plants in the same pot, that the roots will complete and that one or more plants would have its roots suffocated. But, with about 30 days to go before the first plants done, I see zero signs of stress..

Since flower has started, I'll start adding coconut water to the plain ro water, instead of the aloe I was using in veg. Im currently making a compost tea to feed them this weekend.

I pulled back some of the much to get a peek at the soil, and there is all sorts of life in there. All kinds of things crawling around.. Mainly predator mites and other bennies!

Anywhooo.. All is well as we hit the halfway mark!

Very well done! It’s nice to see them all cooperating with each other, and respecting each other’s limited grow space! Very healthy and happy looking! Looking forward to seeing them ripen up

Thank you brotha! This really is as simple as it gets, lol. I've got some pollen left from my mephisto Chemdogging x Tyrone Stomper auto reg male.. I also have some reversed (fem) pollen from a really nice black and purple Dark Cream auto from sweet seeds.. So there may be some pollinating happening in the next week or so!!

Amazing - leaf shine / color couldn’t be better and all that is Flippin great growing :shooty:
