Not only is our day of Canna Worship...:hookah:...sending Burnt Offerings to the Great Ganja Goddess..

but it is the start of a Holiday weekend for the Americans...Sooo..since the majority of the Staff are American..I'm declaring an AFN Official Holiday weekend.

From today until Monday morning AFN Staff are officially Off duty.

How will this affect you as a member..?..

well any non urgent problems will not be actioned until Monday...AND...if you are daft enough to get yourself excluded from site..you will not get back in until Tuesday at the earliest when Staff are back. :thumbsup:

Apart from that..it is a Party Weekend... :cheersmate:..lets get some Music and Party Food going and lets have some Fun.

Throw another shrimp of the b-b-q blue....

The hottest July day on record hit the UK on Wednesday with temperatures soaring to 36.7C (98F).

But making light out of the sticky situation, heat-related memes started flooding Twitter.

Many Brits noted the melting effect the weather was having on them and TV presenter Fearne Cotton tweeted a photo of her wilting candelabra at home, exclaiming 'even the candles have given up'.

Another Twitter user, @haveigotnews, joked that the stifling London Underground was akin to a sauna with TFL instructing commuters to ride naked.
