he's not feral, but he does have a story. His name is lightning for his broken tail tip that healed bent and all jagged. Our old mouser died last spring and we needed a replacement. That summer a friend in Seward adopted him out of the shelter. She said they told her he had been previously adopted and was put on a boat and sailed to Seattle. Some months later he showed up back at the Seward shelter. Seafaring stowaway kitty! Well, he's happily at home in the arctic now.
