Ok dude I couldn't keep it up any longer, check the post I quoted above and look in the top right hand corner. It should also appear in your alerts.
I'm guessing when you clicked it earlier the server may have timed out and you right the server has been timing out a fair amount today.
Truth be told "Best Answer" is not something people tend to use, we seem to be much more into Likes and Rep slaps to show our appreciation for other members content.
