A Scanner Darkly is amazing, the rotoscope is off the hook.... even has that head case Alex Jones making a cameo.

The long walk.....favourite Bachman story..would make a good movie.

Yeah it would. Most of them would. The ones they made just took so much license they weren't the same story. Especially Running Man.

Nice to hang out with literate people you can learn all kinds of shit . I think the last piece of literature I read was in Readers Digest . :cooldance:

You'd like Bachman. King in the early days. Easy reading about people in situations. Very little if any supernatural in some.

Frank Darabont has the rights and is planning on a TV movie version... looks like you have your wish.

Hope he sticks to the book.

Seen him lately? Since he hooked Trump up with Farrakhan he's over the edge. Thinks he's Lonesome Roads.

Went to the village yesterday, 20 mile snowmachine ride, just as I was pulling in felt the drive shaft bearing go out. Made it home with a little help from my friend, Billy. Pulled my machine and sled, and we stopped on the way back to camp and cut a sizable dry spruce for firewood. Got the parts I need here at camp, day or two be rolling again.

Glad it wasn't 10 miles down the trail. Do you carry comms?

Usually not, should though. Distances are a manageable walk. Old camp was 40 miles from village, up in mts. One night broke down halfway home, put the snow shoes on and started walking. It was a nice night, and was out of com range
