The builders doing it are friends..so they needed to wait until they were on holiday from work to do it for us..for mates rates... ..so we had to go with their schedules...
They finished their real jobs Friday..they start ours Monday.

40 sq meters of floor to be cut out and replaced...everything..including the kitchen sink/bath/toilet has to come out of the cabin and stand on the patio until they are done.

Luckily..the weather looks reasonable....

You lucky one having such friends and me could do it also but what are they doing exactly? just replacing topping of the screed or the the screed itself?huge difference in way of work and if it's the screed it may take weeks if they don't put in additional chemistry to dry faster....you 20° and we 1° here

The Cabin floor...hardboard/particle board...cut out the old warped boards and replace with new...

They Think so @Jraven ..I'm not even thinking about it..the way our Luck is going ATM...white rabbits..white rabbits...

Hubby was underneath Weds/Thursday..we had to renew the main electrical cable..and he says all the junction boxes are full of crap from the flooding..so they'll all have to be renewed..sigh..but we couldn't start that until the floor is done..coz they are all fixed under the floor...

You all set....?...not like you can just pop out to the shops if you have forgotten the xmas crackers....

We'll be making our own crackers lol, we haven't had a mail plane in weeks. Pantry is pretty full and I'm sure there are some dead animals to pop in the oven

So. I thought I had lost a seed a little while back, And couldn’t find it ANYWHERE. I get in my tent to feed my ALF#5, and look over at my autopot the seed was supposed to be in, And notice a little green fleck on the the side of the solo cup I was using as a placeholder of sorts...

...long story short, That seed wound up UNDER the solo cup, And grew up the side.
So... I’ll (hopefully) have a mess of Stardawg again in 7 weeks, If she decides to keep on livin’.
