I'm making grilled garlic butter shrimp tonight; but I've never made scallops before and wanted to try. Thaw, pat dry, then just grill with no marinade? Can you glaze a marinade while they grill?
Well this was a bit of a surprise. I topped one of my Tangie's and it was so healthy I said what the heck and dropped it in a grodan cube. Been there about a week and when I got up this morning it was starting to flower! Being an auto I guess it just picked up right where mama was in time? But then--- How do I treat her? Like a seedling?, vegging? Blooming. She doesn't even have any roots showing.

Be careful cause the cook quick. When you think they're done, they may already be overdone just cause they will keep cooking for a bit. Like eggs.
