I rarely measure amounts...Today I made 3 pounds of butter and use the trim from four plants. You end up with pretty potent cannabutter, especially taking into account its made from trim.

Hey @Frankthetank ! Looks like a great recipe. I use on oz of bud /per 6oz coconut oil. Pretty potent. I may try to make some dark chocolates to gift for the holidays.

Thanks Budlady...I make coconut oil chocolates specifically for one family member who can't have dairy. Gives the chocolates another layer of flavor...mmmmmm

Usually just make brownies... That’s what my pals expect and a bit easier to cut up.. as my 50mg. cuts are too heavy for many. I might cut it down to 25mg. With the chocolates.. so as to avoid trying to cut them up.

They sound like truffle consistancy, bet you could make them and roll them in kief for a extra extra special treat and you won't get sticky chocolate fingers



@Frankthetank, thanks recipe pal, I going to be experimenting I think with bud and trim, it's going to be the main dosage of canna for me so a super strong bud butter will be ok

No problem buddy. I use these for when I can't smoke, but have to go into a public place. They do the trick really well, for a nice, moderately stoned day with no joints. Two of them make for a....well, more interesting day :smoking: they last 4-6 hours...or so

I get wasted on the fudge I add 3.5g kief per 1000g fudge, when I say wasted I mean more like zombie lol

when using keif you use a different method. Set up a double boiler (small or medium pot with a bit of water in it, with a stainless steel bowl set over the pot of simmering water....the steam heats it) and melt the butter in that along with your keif. Stir and modulate your heat, making sure the water does not boil dry (add more if you have to) for 30 minutes, or until the keif is melted into the butter (any leaf or plant material will be left in the bottom and not infuse, but you'll be able to tell when the trichomes have infused).
