All the better for discovering Gaelynn Lea.
She doesn't like to be called an "inspiration".
People often say she is an inspiration because it is amazing how she has overcome her disability to be able do what she does.
She says "she will never overcome her disability, as it is part of her"!
That is not what inspires me about her though and yes I am inspired by her but not for anything she has had to overcome but for her mind, her heart and her soul!
She shines with a light that illuminates the world , so we see ourselves as the people we are & not how the world judges us to be, although they know us not! I also like her music and the lyrics she writes.
If you have time watch her videos, I am not ashamed to say, at times it brought a tear to my eye, as she is so poignant in what she says in her "Just breathe" video.


Bet you didn't expect that as an answer to you question but yeah all the better for it! In this year of 2020, we need to remember that which is important and not let it get us down, whenever possible!
