@Hotfire, knew you were close to the Eaton fire, but couldn't remember how close. A buddy from Santa Clarita is workin on that one. His phone was shut off, but figured they sent him to one of the fires. Talked to his wife and she said it's a mess with the Santa Annas. Fingers crossed for you guys!!!

Yeah i heard they are bringing teams from out of state to get control of all this. Since our shitty mayor thought defunding LAFD and pushing DEI was a smart move.. Runyon canyon/Hollywood Hills is on fire now just started an hour ago and it's moving fast.. They are evacuating people now.

F1 Seeds and clones are the only options. The triploid plants are sterile so no seeds past that first generation.

For some reason (to me) it doesn't feel quite like breeding if it can't go farther than one generation. But the pros might say otherwise?

I don't think they are going to "pull a Monsanto" and try controlling everything....and there's still lots of regular seeds out there.

To each their own but if I had a big enough space I'd try triploids just for the boosted terps and cannabinoids.

And you are stuck buying seeds all the time. Or I guess keeping clones. And they are F1s. I don't mind F1s at all. I do kinda like the interesting mix that can come about. I'm definitely about consistency though. I really prefer a thorough worked out line of genetics.
I really doubt that triploids have any more boosted terps and cannabinoids than any other high quality bred cannabis.

If we all liked the same thing, this old world would be pretty damn boring man!
