I really don't think that cannabis breeding should move in that direction.

F1 Seeds and clones are the only options. The triploid plants are sterile so no seeds past that first generation.

For some reason (to me) it doesn't feel quite like breeding if it can't go farther than one generation. But the pros might say otherwise?

I don't think they are going to "pull a Monsanto" and try controlling everything....and there's still lots of regular seeds out there.

To each their own but if I had a big enough space I'd try triploids just for the boosted terps and cannabinoids.

Hey guys so need a second opinion here. Does this seem small for a month old? I'm a little disappointed in how small it is. I've not grown anything in hydro in almost a year.

Its already starting to flower. I'm not gonna chop it, I'm just a little shocked.

@Hotfire, knew you were close to the Eaton fire, but couldn't remember how close. A buddy from Santa Clarita is workin on that one. His phone was shut off, but figured they sent him to one of the fires. Talked to his wife and she said it's a mess with the Santa Annas. Fingers crossed for you guys!!!

hmmm, I googled and found some pictures of 30 day old cannabis and I guess its right about in line with others, same for the pistils showing too. I'm probably overthinking it.

What are the genetics? Some strains will stay small no matter what you do.
