They were nice boys. I could have eaten at least 3 of them though.
I knew there was a reason their plants looked so big!:funny::funny::funny::funny:
They do love growing their weed!

Now, did they bring some fire with them?? Derek should have.

Yay. First post with the new laptop.!:funny::haha::haha:

I've always had HP laptops. My first business laptop was a big old brick and I think it had 3.1 on it for a short time before they upgraded it to Windows 95. I've just always had very good luck with HP for the most part. The laptop before the one that I killed this morning, originally had windows 7 on it and it still runs.................. Slow AF, but works

Aside from my first Apple computer, I've never bought a desktop. Only built my own. But it's been a very long time since I built a computer.
I game on consoles. I finally broke down and bought a PS5 ! :funny: quite the improvement but I need to upgrade my tv now in the bedroom!

HP Envy Laptop 16-h1053dx is what I picked up today. Late 23 model that was just under $1600 and it's been reduced to $999.
I don't think it's much of a gaming laptop but it does have a NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4060 Laptop GPU (8 GB GDDR6 dedicated)
A fairly decent processor:
Processor
Intel® Core™ i7-13700H (up to 5.0 GHz with Intel® Turbo Boost Technology, 24 MB L3 cache, 14 cores, 20 threads)
A fair amount of memory:
16 GB DDR5-5200 MT/s (2 x 8 GB) Transfer rates up to 5200 MT/s. 2 x 8 GB.......... No idea if it's user accessible or upgradable. The last one was neither.
The screen is a little slightly smaller than my last one, but at a much better resolution and 120 Hertz refresh rate.

Nope that's a gaming laptop lol. A 4060 is a $300+ video card. That's not for grandma to play solitaire on.

I haven't had the need to know detailed specs on a laptop for quite a long while. Mainly just general stuff is what I've based my purchases on for quite a long while.
Now when I was tuning cars, I always had a new laptop. I could easily pay for a new laptop in a day.
