It happened years ago, before he actually published that autoflower book.

He created an account on here, but didn't let anyone know he was doing that (like e-mail, phone call, etc,) and we didn't know it was HIM.

And he made a post that basically read like spam, because we didn't know it was the real Jeff Lowenfels with a created account on the forum asking for permission to put things in his autoflower book from the forum And @Mossy banned him because of his post

We reached out after the fact and apologized and had a laugh about it.

I knew an Afro-Cuban guy who was doing hard time in a NYS penitentiary, for armed robbery. He stole a Con-Edison hardhat and jacket out of the back of a utility company truck, and he had a small car like the electric meter men use. He didn't speak much English, but he'd knock on doors and say "Con-Edison Man." People would let him in, and he'd rob them. Every time he pulled it off he got bolder, until he was robbing offices and construction sites. The news would report "Con-Edison man strikes again!" It took a while before he got caught.
