Yeah she took screen shots from Live Stoner Chat and sent them to the owner of the company I work for, and told them I was embezzling money (a ridiculous blatant lie; Ive known these guys for 20 years, and they are friends) and the owner of the company watches every penny come in and go out.

Somehow got her personal cell # though and sent her screen shots from the forum.

Well gro peeps, I did some more fiddling with Photone and my so called par meter, and I get different results with a paper diffuser than I do with the piece of led bulb diffuser. I was assuming that the app was calibrating to light loss, but it seems that it may be calibrated to the exact thing they sell as a diffuser accessory. At any rate, with a paper diffuser, the error the par meter makes only increases the light reading by about 30%, still a signifcant error, and potentially the cause of the symptoms I have been dealing with, but perhaps not as bad as I reported earlier.

I am not sure what I will do now, does anyone have experience with both a paper diffuser and the accessory?

I have the accessory. It reads the same as my old phone without it. I didn't need a paper filter for an android phone before. You could always buy a new meter, take a couple readings and then send it back

I ordered the diffuser, and will see what I can figure out when it arrives. Bottom line at this point is that the drooping on my solos is pretty much gone, so they seem to like the reduced light. If I think I figure anything useful out once I get the diffuser, I will report, but it will be a while.

At this point, I would still trust Photone on a recent cell phone, at least one with the proper diffuser, more than I would one of those cheap par meters at ten times the price. As to the professional par meters, spending that amount of money for home growing would, IMO, be just silly given the photone option.
