Yup i learned all my stuff watching/helping others or YouTube in some cases! I’m pretty sure it was the -10 temps that had him disinterested in trying to do it himself! Plus without a cordless impact it can be a bitch doing it with plain ol socket wrenches!Yup. When the brake pads wear down, the piston that pushes everything together travels further out. That extra space gets taken up by the fluid in the reasevor. If you see the fluid getting low, it's a good indicator that the brakes are going. If it gets too low, you start sucking air into the master cylinder and into the lines. You're pretty much screwed at that point.
@Son of Hobbes if you can build a comp, you can do brakes. You just need to watch someone do it once and you'll be like, why did I just shell out all that money. Live and learn. I'm more mechanically minded so I guess it more intuitive for me.
Got ya. I like the looks of his SHC on his site.
Probably a bit of both. Novice trying a new method but even switching methods I got nothing. Start and stall or just stall and cooked. I chalked it up to inexperience but at this point, I should figured this bit out. I think it really comes down to temp for me. Extra cold in the winter plus the basement is always colder. Excuse, excuse, excuse..... I just really hate losing expensive beans. What's your method with rooters? Are they staying too wet? Or do you think it's a bad batch of seeds?
Remember when we used to tell breeders when we had germination issues, and they could track things down by the seed lot # that sometimes was on the packaging?
Yeah we aren't going to babysit them like that anymore, if they want to defend themselves he can grow up and be a big boy.
I did but I don't germ in the tent. I keep the pot of soil in there for when I get a tail. I've never :knockonwood: had an issue once they pop but it's a frustrating battle sometimes to get to that point. Other times, I'm like woah that was quick. Let's get to it.I always try to make sure my room is 85 to high 80s. I thought you had bought a new tent heater? I also always bag up my soil a couple weeks early from the composter and let it set in my heated garage. My grow this fall took 20 seeds to get 6 plants because of mice.
I’ve also cut down on soak time on the heatmat to 12 hours or so.
