Speaking of colonoscopies, one of my friends is a writer/director and films tv/internet/commercials.You have seen his work. He just did a documentary called Andre is an Idiot. It's about a friend of his that got diagnosed and ultimately passed from colon cancer. The documentary just won the Audience Award for best documentary at Sundance! That is a huge award!!! Andre didn't want to go normally and they came up with and filmed all their wacky ideas. They got Chong to appear in film...

Will post a heads up when it will start airing. Netflix bought the rights, but they are back and forth with a few things still

Alright all you multiple colonoscopy veterans, I gotta do "prep" tomorrow for procedure on Wednesday. So, should I eat light today, scarf normal, or eat up? Either way, it's all coming out! What do ya think is easier?
I had 4 colonoscopies. They wanted to put me under, but I refused general anesthesia. When I said I was driving myself home, the nurse said, "That settles it then, you can't have general anesthesia, I'll tell the doctor." It's not very painful except when the hose goes around the bends in your colon you feel a poke. A couple days after the last colonoscopy I got a fever, diarrhea, vomiting and was in the hospital for 8 days with e-Coli sepsis (blood infection), severe colitis, and toxic shock. I'm 74 and I won't be getting any more colonoscopies.

I still get that lust for the sea, like when @Mossy posted the beach today. I know a lot of the remote places where I anchored in the 60's and 70's, in Newfoundland, Bahamas, and West Indies are full of trash or populated now. Wild smugglers' coves where I fished and hunted pecary in Colombia are neighborhoods now. And last time I tried to go to Canada, when they swiped my passport an old weed smuggling conviction came up. After detaining me for 3 hours they said I was not eligible to enter Canada. I don't know how many other countries will have similar policies now. Anyway, I can't get too far away from the doctor's office these days. I can still dream though.
I know I'd like to be there right now. I love to have my little single wall construction "Hut" again. I had the perfect amount of breeze at night with the cross ventilation. I'd have a big old solar array and a nice little garden. I'd ride my electric bicycle down to the local fishing spot to catch the days food.
Never cold. Never hot. And the smell of the ocean was always in the air.:hula:

PS......... Don't look at that hula smiley too long. It'll mesmerize you.

I'm severely stoned and this is the movie I'm watching.:haha::haha::smokeout:

Follow up to the keyhole surgery..or extras @Cerebral Goo ....?.... :bighug:

I'd give my eye teeth for a sea view with the noise and smell of the sea ..........:headbang:
I was about four small blocks away from the first good fishing spot at Iroquois Point housing. That's the west side of the very opening of the harbor at the mouth. Ewa Beach was further west, along the coast.
The breeze was simply amazing. Even with all the trees I planted. I knew it was an investment opportunity, but nevertheless it did hurt to have to sell it when I got orders. Made pretty damn nice money though! I couldn't even imagine what that place would be now. Not a clue not a clue!
