My hardware geekiness is quite dated! It's been a very long time since I've done a memory upgrade to a laptop!
I really knew absolutely nothing about the solid state type hard drives. Nothing about the form factor or anything.
I got the 'hard drive' Out of the fried laptop. Hopefully, it's not damaged.

I finally deduced that I have a M key style NVMe 'hard drive'!................... That did take quite a bit to find all that junk out!
I really wish the blue shirt had Goober head at Best Buy had done a little bit more looking and a little bit more thought process with the information that I gave him! I was looking for in an enclosure to house this in. I can still use the docking station that I have to take care of some other things, but what I needed was THERE!
I'm pretty sure this is the correct one.. If there are geeks out there, maybe one of you guys can verify this for me so I don't have to travel 90 miles round trip for nothing.
I'm just hoping that it's not fried!
But I'm gonna leave after I do the playlist with my crew on GTA!
A geek has to have his priorities!

Spent day staying warm straightening room so I could reach the plants. Small Tropichem got the chop, big one tomorrow. Then water off on the NL and Amnesia. Think the GMO and Crinkleberry might go to February.

Did some research on smaller appliances for after she leaves. Just too much of a struggle handling that heavy ass 10qt crockpot when all I need is a 2qt. Thinking about a rice cooker as well.

Got me a Nebula decarb machine for x-mas, I have a feeling this will be my most used kitchen appliance soon.When we broke up we both wanted everything. After a couple of weeks we both tried to get the other part to please come and pick that mixer up because what are we gonna do with all this shit.
Got my aroma rice cooker for $25 at Walmart. Seems decent. Made soup and a few other things in it too
