I couldn't start growing here until I bought a house. Landlords can be a bitch. From them randomly showing up, to fire inspectors, random maintenance guys... I wouldn't have ever got away with a grow. Or the other type of landlord that never responds or fixes anything. They need to give 48 hours notice here to let anybody into the place :pass:

I just ordered a 20qt bag of the large perlite. The yard has so much perlite thrown around its starting to look like i got snow all year round. Am planning on trying to reuse it, and I hope the big chunks will be much easier to separate from my old soil. Dump in a large tote and fill with water, and hopefully skim it off the top. I read perlite floats. Would explain how it works itself to the top of my grow bags.

I use medium grade pumice which lasts forever and i had several pots and 2 huge totes of soil i didn’t feel like moving so dumped it into front flowerbed area before we left but as soon as we have the first big storm that shit is gonna run downhill and be all over the front yard! Teach them to not install gutters!:rofl:

I was considering trying pumice, but alas, I went with what I am familiar with. Plus around here they want $4 a quart, thats way more then perlite.

Anybody seen this movie yet?? Saw it today and it was a cool flick!

The grow shop here its like $30ish for a 30lb bag which basically is the same size as 1cu ft of soil!

@Fermented_Fruitz Mark I really would help you out but my room is full of autos. The big girls may not finish until May. It’s already been 90f + in my room. That’s why I only grow during fall/winter/ spring. I would have gave you a big chunk of this year cured hash to. lol
Maybe someday dude. My drive is just a little farther than your’s to the border.
