Then made homemade General Tsos chicken.

I'd give the recipe, but I'm sure @Fermented_Fruitz would have something to say about it, like "Hoison Sauce? You don't use that!"

I love mixing ketchup and brown sugar and brushing it on the top of my meatloaf. But my wife had stomach stapling surgery, and things sometimes bother her and give her heart burn, and thats one of them :-(

My mom always did it that way. I prefer my wife’s it’s cheesy and with brown gravy not a fan of ketchup/tomatoe base on my meatloaf
