I hope your friend is doing well! I showed up to work (an office job) the day after high off my ass on the recommended dose of perc they had given me in the er and everyone was like wtf are you doing here?! But the company didn't give sick leave or vacation so I was just like "well, guess I've gotta go in" the system is fucking dumb

He may or may not be doing well, 3 years after it happenend his dad got a promotion to an office out of state, we kept in touch for a while but its been years almost 15 years now since Ive heard anything. And yes the system is beyond dumb.
