$3.20 for a Uric acid test at my podiatrist, it was sent to Labcorp.

$56 for the same uric acid test, at my new PCP, but their hospital processed it and not labcorp.

And thats just the uric acid test, I had a whole panel done. Between me and my wife we owe about $1200 just for blood work, and the exact same work would have cost about $20 if we'd gone to labcorp instead.

Thats not double the price. Or 50% more. Or just a little more. No, its 17.5x more. 1750%.

The only way they are getting this is by tricking people who don't know any better.

This is the only industry where they can just go and do something, not ask me, not give me a price for it, charge me wildly above market price, and just expect me to cough it up.

I have my employer and insurance company on one side telling me "You need to be more accountable for your costs, shop around, get and compare prices."

I fucking dare anyone of you to call your doctor and ask what a blood panel will cost. They won't know, they'll have to submit it through your insurance to find out. Not only do I not know the prices, THEY don't know the prices. And if you ask, they get pissed off at you, like you are wasting their time.
I get a full work up once a year and I think it's about $70 on top of the $30 copay for the doctor's appt

Smart man, planned ahead.

If there were 2 burger places right next to each other, that produced exactly identical burgers, except one was a national chain that charged $1 and the other was a local place that charged $17.50....we would laugh at who ever owned the local place. No one would shop there.

If the local place changed everything to look exactly like the national chain. A McDonalds vs. McDowels situation

And didn't reveal their prices until after you'd eaten, only for you to find out "surprise, we charge 1750% more than our competition! Now pay up, or we're wrecking your credit.", you'd call the police, right?

But in this nearly identical situation, I'm just supposed to eat it, and my health insurance just shrugs their shoulders.

the thing is that currently when you try to load the smileys in WYSIWYG editor, the links are broken and the images are of course not loaded.
After analysis of requests in Chrome > Developer Tools > Network tab, I can see that smileys loads are triggered but return 404 response code which translates that the resource for a link pointing to smiley is not found.
There can be couple of scenarios.
- the resources (smiley files) are missing from the server and link leads nowhere --> upload smileys to server to get it working
- resources are uploaded to the new AFN server but the links are wrongfully formatted and need to be rewritten

...probably it's the first scenario
