Anybody got any links or advise for growing medical mushrooms outdoors? Either in a garden or greenhouse? Gotta be totally possible but I can only seem to find videos of hippies growing regular edible mushrooms in the woods and each type seems to have a specific style

From what I remember, shrooms don't do so well where you are. There are a few species that grow wild though. No cubensis. Paneolis and a couple others if I remember correctly. We went out near the Meadowlands and found some, but the ones we saw were to hard to differentiate from look a like poisionous ones so we let them be.

There pretty easy to grow indoors. Sterility is the main issue when culturing, but after that easy peasy. Plenty of places to mail order spores or spore prints and they are legal to ship and posses."Preservation and research" Just not grow in most places. Go with something more heavy duty like azurescens!!!

Some more shots of the ladies. Gotta come down tomorrow as I leave for Portugal next week

I live in a completely different area then the meadowlands :crying: We have more bears then police here. Mushrooms grow all around the forest around me. I was thinking there's gotta be a way I could get a syringe and start it indoors and put it all outside to grow

Yeah man. Give it a try. Maybe a little research to what grows wild and try to find something psychedelic that is similar in species. Shrooms are all over the place here too and one of the best spots for morels in the country, but we have no wild growing psychedelics. Plenty of indoor though...

is that bears or "bears"?

Yup I use them in both tents the 4x4 has all soil right now and the 3x3 is all coco... I looking less maintance if i change anything hence the earth boxes no shop vacs:nono:.. I can deal with the height if I stay this route just thinking I could grow bigger plants but in reality that in not going to help the case:doh: Really thinking that the earthboxes would help my bad watering habits while making life simple.. It's either that or just running all coco DTW :headbang:
I have gone to coco/perlite DTW, in vented ~1gallon pots, and I like the results. Big healthy plants, but plants that I can move around, train, and trim easily. It would be nice to ditch the nute mixing and pHing, but I am getting quicker at it, and as I sort the irrigation control to get runoff consistently to the minimum needed, less nutes will go down the drain. The jury is not quite in yet, but at this point I think I will stick with my current setup rather than return to soil. I got decent yield from one of my soil attempts, but I ended up with some sort of lockout in spite of my best efforts, and, of course, there was not much I could do about it. If soil works well, all is good. If mischief arises, you pretty much just get to watch because it is hard to fix soil issues once they show up.

So at least next year I will stick with coco DTW, but I will use two reservoirs instead of one so that solos and big pots can be kept on their own pump schedule and nute mixes. :pighug:

Evening folks, so what is your favorite solution to clean your tent walls. I need to do an anti-pollen cleaning. Just to be safe.
Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle?
If pollen is your worry, all you need is plain water. Water is death to pollen.
