Good day DDubs, that is basically what I do, usually it is a 2-3 day hang (I do remove all the big fan leaves before cutting her down), then hang whole and into bags as branchs,, then into grove bags as buds.

Why people screw them straight to a board crushing the 120v wires insulation (as opposed to say a pancake box) is beyond me .

Yes it did well enough, nothing to really write home about, it would make a decent fill lamp to get lower areas.

Lol in the old days I used 2 to 4 foot flouresent, 2 lamp surface mount strip fixtures with 1 Warm white and 1 cool white lamp lamp hung on jack chain and a HPS for budding in a separate room lol.u actually can't even find em anymore, but like many did in the "olden dayz", i too started out with good ol' cfl'z, and they came in either 6500k (or "daylight", for veg) or 2700k ("soft white" for flower) ...but ya, u could mix the two if so dezired
The good ole days, lol indoor growing has really come a long ways, led's and autoflowers!
