Best to take the ride on 97 on a week day, the weekend is nothing but wall to wall, bumper to bumper flatlanders who have the driving skills of a spastic gorilla.....

Rhinebeck is a fun place for airplane buffs! :headbang:
My thoughts exactly about weekends on really popular spots like that. The whole point of riding them is to enjoy the view and do it like there's no one else on the road. Not stuck in bumper to bumper.
It's exactly how we did BRP and skyline drive as well as the back of dragon. I wasn't sure about the Hawks nest so thanks!!
Maybe putt thru CT sideways on Sat, hit Old Rhinebeck for the Sunday airshow and ride the Hawks nest on Monday lol.

Sounds like a plan!

Interesting job, what is it? There will soon be less wire/sticks in the cupboard. :worship:
Do you remeber the blue bin trailer I showed you while back? it will be that when finished but still long ways from that... Yeah lots of wire and steel :headbang:

Take a little bit of each and mix them, new flavors and buzz!

Might have to do that with the GH it is not very pleasant not sure what happened I did bust a bag but that's not the flavor I'm getting:shrug::chef:

Silicone is fine for that tiny bit
What you trying to say tiny??:haha::rofl::rofl::rofl: Just busting your balls:kiss::bighug:

yup my thoughts exactly plus it doesn't stay in there very long to go bad:jointman: I like not having the waste that's left with glass:cooldance:

It's all of that and more. It's gonna be a bummer switching from that even to a trike. But atleast with trikes there's a long history of all the old servi cars that still to me just look drop dead gorgeous and very much still a bike (albeit they turn like a snowmobile lol). These things I've looked at since I was a kid and even back then I thought wow I'd love to own that. There's a lot of beauty to them to my eye. I just don't see it in the new Can Am type models.
Not to take away from how a Can Am might handle but ..
If someone walked up and said I could have a 57 Chevy nomad or a Subaru WRX I'd take that nomad all day long.View attachment 1563898View attachment 1563899View attachment 1563900
I love old Harley trikes, but not much on riding them. Just be chill on them.
Can Ams, on the other hand, are just a friggin bast!! The big cruisers ride and drive like a dream. The small ones can be slung around and driven hard!
If 3 wheels are in your future, just go test drive a Can Am. Don't count out something until ya try it.
If I knew my back could tolerate a 200mile jaunt at a time, I'd get one of the big cruisers. I'd use it to go grocery shopping........in a few towns over.:eyebrows:
I get some stuff straightened out this year, I'm looking to get another set of wheels. A low mile stock old fart 2014 Mustang auto GT would fit the bill. Second gen Coyote engine, last year for straight axle.. A few simple mods, converter. gears, rear suspension mods(BMR arms and relocation brackets), double adjustable rear shocks, Mickey Drag radials, good CAI and a tune.
Nothing crazy that will still have a great ride, drive it anywhere and I can make it dead hook on the street. If I wanted more, just throw a Whipple on it, a fuel pump change out and a tune.
Or some Can Am
Both would be pure fun.

I'd test drive one just for giggles and shits.
