Glad I still have a working brain after all the weed I smoke but def still does the job! My humidifier had been going out and acting wonky so contacted them and got a new 1 on its way from the warranty but figured I’d give it 1 last shot at fixing this 1 too! Gets cleaned on regular basis with white vinegar but it was cutting in and out! Finally pulled tank off and used my finger to depress the lil valve that allows water to flow down into bottom reservoir to be converted and it was barely trickling out! Set tank down into base and saw even being depressed how it was supposed to be (not with a finger) it was moving super slow still! Added vinegar to tank and set it into base so it could slowly get pulled thru that valve to clean the inside and voila……

Back working like new again! Still got the new 1 on the way so means I can finally retire the piece of shit inkbird humidifier! It’s total garbage and really needs a good dropkick off an overpass or something!

Have to keep a drain pan under it cuz any humidity trapped in that hose when it shuts off turns back into water and then runs out the hose so def a pain in the ass……
I’m a cheap bastard tho so emptying pan was better then buying another humidifier!

We use a small fish landing net. It lives in a closet, and has dealt with quite a few bats and birds. The bats were getting down the chimney all the way into the built in fireplace, and then into the house by getting out of the firebox through the combustion air intake. Or so goes my theory. Anyway, the chimney is now screened, and no more bats for the last two years.

luckily there was a screen on exhaust pipe so he couldn't get all the way in the house just his head could fit in. so we took that section of exhaust pipe out and capped it till we got it outside. fun way to wake and bake. we've only been in this house a few yrs now. i will be getting up there this spring and capping chimney for sure. 12/12 pitch 2 story house not looking forward to it. i do many things but roofs are not one
