Morning kittens....yup, freaking cold but at least wind isn't blowing like yesterday. Nothing really planned for the day other than staying warm as I can......real Florida native, don't do cold well at all.
The wally world clip fans came yesterday, nothing special but they are moving air around in the tent, lets see how long these last. Might be a little project for the day, making side rails for the tent so they got a place to perch.
Been doing a little experiment with the thermpro temp-humidity pucks off fleabay.....let's just say there's a range of 8 to 10 degrees between them. Hung them from lines in the canopy, 2 even back to back and none show the same. Since my ink birds are on the shelf at the moment was thinking about testing them, only have 2 of them but it might be a bit informative on how much growers should place their trust in the accuracy of the readings.
Well, need more coffee......:coffee2:
Florida? Cold? -21C on my deck during coffee this morning.

I licked the Frog the other day....the plants have stopped growing due to the cold temps/low light.

I was Hoping coz they looked quite immature for a quick burst of happy energetic high.........:vibe:....I got two hours going Laaa..staring in the corner of the room...gaga........

The plant might look immature.............but it looks like the trics aren't.....that explains it..........Laaaaaaaa............:pass:

Looks like they need taken down........:headbang:
quite some time ago methinks... I've never seen trichs that consistently dark in my admittedly short growing mischief. Not from lack of trying though. Is that plant a photo?

Nine weeks in flower I did have a power outage for two days a couple of weeks ago that may have slowed them. :pass:
Had a power outage yesterday. Temps got below 40 and it fried my timer before I could get there. Fired up the propane heat and hooked up the generator. It ran for about ten minutes before the power came back on.

I Think they look quite milky @Olderfart ..they are Losing their Reflective quality,,,, :headbang: ..I'd Test bud now...

Personal Opinion on my crosses....Milkies are the Up Energy High....

Ambers the narcotics...

I don't get paranoia...but hubby does...and it is Always from the Heavy Ambers.....:pass:
Interesting that ambers do it to hubby. I have not figured this stuff out yet. I get a bit paranoid once in a while on my 24C, and I think once on my Northern Lights, never particularly bad, just a slightly unpleasant side to the sleepy time stone. The couple sativas I have tried have not done that. It seems that our response to weed is pretty personal, and it varies even at a particular dose of a given strain. Once in a while my bedtime toke of 24C does bugger all except leave me awake and stoned, other times it is lights out. One of these days I might figure this stuff out, but for now predictability is not exactly 100%.

Anyway, thanks for getting back to me on the trichs. A small test sample might be in order..,

Well, I'm just waiting for the trichs to turn a bit more amber for the chop before I drop new beans.
While I did knock back the gnats, they are not fully eliminated. I do think they are quite manageable and for the most part, no longer a danger given the time left in the grow.
I don't think they are in the other pots of the stunted girls. I was going to chop all the girls n the tent at the same time. I got in some water soluble BigFoot mycos in last week. I'm gonna give my runts some of the Bigfoot and let them run until Transplant of the new girls for the next run. To get the new 2x4 better dialed in, I'll move those girls to there, clean the 4x4 and sprout the new girls there. Mycos was the one thing I failed to help my stunted girls. I just didn't order more. I've seen some good results from BigFoot and will be a part. again, of my regular routine. Maybe a bit wasteful at this late hour, but could show the effectiveness of the new product.
After I chop the EB girl, I'm gonna sow some two row barley in it. I don't know the hardiness of it. If I had some Lbon Rye, I'd plant that for a cover crop and set it outside and not worry. We'll see how it does outside. I would throw a light on it in the walk in closet if it wasn't for the gnats.
Jeremy of BAS had no wicking problems when he re-ran one of his Earth boxes on his latest series on YouTube. I think I'm just going to run a cover crop in it until it's ready after this next run. I think it might be a neat little experiment.
