What a night! Several tornados in the county, with the closest was about 5 butt-puckering miles away. I finally crashed about 4am. The last bit is just now moving out. No major damage, but I haven't check to see yet.
I do have another huge pine that has to be taken down within the next couple of years. It's way too close to the house. Damn shame! It's bigger than the one that had to be taken out a few years ago. It's at least 80years+ old.
Pine trees...............Brings back memories when thinking of how old my trees are here.

I planted two little pine trees in our little front yard when I was just a wee one. Pop had got steam burned from a plant screw up from a moron. Pop spent over 2 months in the hospital. I don't remember where I got the idea, but while visiting my Pop, I asked him for something to plant for Pop in the front yard. He dropped then off and told me how to plant them. This was late summer '66 and the shovel was about twice as tall as me..........still have that long handle shovel!
I remember it was late 66 from a picture of Pop just out of the hospital. He was standing between the two pines....still in his PJs and robe with Mom's new '66 Baby Blue Ford Galaxie 500 XL in the background. When we came home, Pop saw the trees I planted for him. I now know Mom told him about it while still in the hospital. It was supposed to have been a secret.
I guess Pop really liked it. He made Mom go inside and get her Brownie and take a picture! LOL!

Yeah..............those trees are still living. The soooooooooooooo look outta place! It was a very small yard! Despite being butchered all to hell from powerline trimming, the are the tallest trees in the neighborhood by quite a large margin.
Funny thing is that they are in damn black clay gumbo soil. The kind where you walk across a wet garden and you're 6inches taller comingout the other side. Pines like sandy acid soild.............totally opposite! The guy that gave me the trees got to see them get big. He was very amazed.

Just so you know I read the post.

I do not do combustion but tobacco mixed with weed was a downer when I did.

You have to cure the leaves just like they were buds. Dry them slowly then in grove bags for a month. Then they will taste like good weed. This is based on research and not first hand knowledge. It is what I plan on doing.

When I saw that tobacco leaf I went Blah.......:frowny:
