No it's sure not!
I coped pretty well with my injuries when younger. There were things I couldn't/shouldn't do back then, but I adjusted. I'm struggling hard now to cope, especially since covid shit.
It's getting extremely difficult to cope mentally and physically. When ya get slammed to the floor and pass out from the pain, it's difficult to keep a positive mental attitude. That "Just breathe" mantra, is losing its effectiveness.
I do the only thing I know what to do. I pick myself up. The scary thing is that I'm beginning to doubt how long I can keep up the struggle. And that's on top of all the other crap that life throws on all of us from time to time.

Sorry Auntie. The comment hit home pretty hard this morning. It's a bit cathartic to get some of the crap of my chest.
I almost called the Vet crisis line yesterday, but stopped. As fresh as the pain was at the time, I probably would have come off as someone about to or could end it all. I didn't need some retard LEO coming to my home for a welfare check and have them TRY to assert their power they THINK they have. I wouldn't have been very tolerant of stupidity.

I think a nice hot soak would be a positive move this morning. Sure can't hurt!

I am sorry to hear that you are in so much pain Bill. If venting here helps, please vent away. Your gro bro friends here will support as much as we can. Good luck with it mate, I hope you get it under control. :pighug:

Gawd..caught sight of meself in the bathroom mirror.......sigh...... :pass:

I remember the days me muscles rippled..........now I just ripple.........:crying:......old age is not for cissies.......
Not that great for non-sissies either. OTOH, there is the alternative. :crying:

I'm too skinny for rippling, but some days I wonder where in hell the muscles went. The annual snow/summer tire change of wheels is getting to be a bigger pain every year. Time to design a lever for lifting the damn wheels onto the studs. As the saying goes, I am getting too old for some of this shit.

That's what they did! It drives me crazy!

 ...why change maths!?!!
The rule is simply a convention to make sure everyone comes up with the same answer. However, this rule doesn't always work. The best way to avoid confusion is to isolate chunks of arithmetic in brackets. Do the shit in brackets before you do the shit that links them.

Example. 2x4+2=10 according to the above rules. However, maybe I meant that I need two sets of lumber, each with a 2 foot and a 4 foot long board (six feet of board per set) and I want to know the total length of board that I need. The answer would not be 10 feet, it would be 12 feet. The way to avoid ambiguity is this: 2X(4+2)=12. Do the shit inside the brackets first, and you get the right answer. I always use brackets because even spreadsheets can get up to mischief if you don't know exactly what the invisible sequence rules are. If the calculation is not simple, it is not obvious whether it is the right answer given the intended purpose of the calculation.

I'm sure that all my stoner buds were on the edge of their chairs waiting for this. I do get carried away.

Off to the next couple instalments of Vikings. More hacking and slashing.
