I was also a self taught crew chief... :d5: I did take a couple of classes eventually. I was around $40/hr NY/NJ area late 90s early 2000s. Once gps hit the scene the time constraints on jobs got ridiculous and the pay went way down everywhere. But I totally miss digging up an old whiskey bottle in a field nobody has seen in 100 years and hunting down blaze marks on trees and all the old history part of the job
Same here!

Same here, stone rows no one has seen in 150 yrs, and foundations in the middle of a 1000 acre plot bordered by state lines, here are some finds... The ink well was directly over an original pipe 1.5 ' down. The big brown bottle is either pre prohibition or during as it has no markings or stamps... No tax #. Medicine bottle with label is from local area, late 1800s I believe. It has the Dr's name but haven't gone to historical society yet.

.
Harvested right from the yard. When they are in such large groups, hundreds, they don't spook easy. What follows is a typical sequence. My cover is blown......

Small group hits it, stops after a short distance.......

The rest of the hundreds completely chill.......

Awesome...as Usual........... :bighug: ...I Hoped you had enough food to keep the cold out your bones.......:pass:...and enough bud to keep you Foating...

@Bill.de.Cat @420Forever ...it took me a while....I'm old style maths too.....But.......:pass:...if X takes priority...the sum becomes 2 x 10 {=20} plus 5 = 25 :shrug:

ok, are my math skills that bad?
10+10+10=30
10+5+5=20
5+2+2=9
5+2 x 10 = 70
