View attachment 1405933 I was expecting to hear that the block or crank were bad but they are fine for rebuild. Cylinders will be +30 or 40. #4 is pretty close for the 30, it has the most wear and tapir - wider at the top. Most likely caused by the broken ring.

And the winner is me because I am not sure this truck had many miles before a catastrophic failure and yet not! Safely driven into the garage.

Cut it close a timing chain wadding up or worse would be Mo Money.

Evening kittens......Been one of them days I don't feel like doing shyte but gotta do it anyways or it don't get done. Little here, little there, something eventually gets finished.
Got the dresser done, wife asking why it's taking so long.......Didn't have any more time to hunt up older, properly made item the right size so got one of those flat box, put it together deals. They'll last if you use gorilla glue in the joints. But you gotta let it set.....that's why it took so long...install the drawers and move my clothes into it then I can move the safe over to that wall.....then I gotta figure out the tent expansion.....thinking just PT 2x4's ripped to 2x2's and stapling the siding to it. Can get aluminized black out canvas online for about 75 bucks.....normally just leave the tent open anyways soooo...
