Australia got the Fires...then floods....
Africa and India got the Plagues of Locusts......we've had the gamut already......




Hold on to your Hat....I Fear there is worse to come........

Mossy and EyesonFire, its crazy drought was so bad here it broke records at many centres only getting 1/4 of their annual rainfall. Then the fires happened, almost the whole east coast of NSW was up in flames while our PM took a holiday during the inferno, in short not voting for him. He didnt handle nor care . Floods fires seems to be a year of extremes the last few years.

Mossy and EyesonFire, its crazy drought was so bad here it broke records at many centres only getting 1/4 of their annual rainfall. Then the fires happened, almost the whole east coast of NSW was up in flames while our PM took a holiday during the inferno, in short not voting for him. He didnt handle nor care . Yeah @smokeyfromau ..you got a hell of a fire year......estimates says 1 Billion animals died....you can't even Imagine it can you...
But..it gives you an idea of Scale.

I'm a semi-hermit myself and yep, I've got cabin fever and now winter is coming............ BAHH HUMBUG!

I Must admit...my own life is not much different either...by Choice.... ...but even my usual minimal social contact lifestyle is beginning to Stifle me...

I Remember Thinking 2019 was a Crap year....... ....

Still not Good @pop22 ..cheers....I just Think I have got to Accept this as my New Normal....

Hubby is a Lot Better....he is just as Deaf as a Stone....I Think I'm just Slower coz my immune system is screwed....I Feel as Shut Down/completely insular as I did when I first got me nerve damage.
In Danger of complete Hibernation.....especially with Winter coming... ...

I'm doing well thank you. Getting ready to pull my turnips and close the last raised bed. Then I'm going to grow plants indoors everywhere I find a stray beam of light....... got to have something to do, it's going to be a long winter.........

I'm doing well thank you. Getting ready to pull my turnips and close the last raised bed. Then I'm going to grow plants indoors everywhere I find a stray beam of light....... got to have something to do, it's going to be a long winter.........

Yup...With you...I Think it will be a Long winter too..... ...and a Shortage of Good Meds....so grow as many as you can...

I've got a rudimentary cold frame now......I might give it a Go myself.

I still have a Giggleon the patio...a sati thing that is for charas..?....and the remnants of a DC that is as Black as the outdoor night temps.....

Yes Mossy, millions of hectares even our rainforest 34% had some damage or complete canopy burntspecies of flora and fauna lost forever, taking the endangered species. It was shocking, have a nice day Mossy

Hey Pop22 Amazing not only the shopping centres that got bought out of almost but it was impossible to get any vegetable seedlings at the hardware so had to grow by seed, even hid a smal auto in the garden lol i bloomed during the winter here including a 3 degree morning she was touch
