Small fan aren't designed to be on 24/7 for months on end!
They need to be er-oiled to stop this kind of thing happening fro, friction crating heat, lube it up with a good mineral oil if they have oil absorbing felt pads which slowly release the oil, over time the oil will have totally disappeared the pad will need, reloading with oil!
Nobody ever talks about this in grow forums but in other forums bases on other subjects which use fans they are all about keeping them maintained.
Mayne it is about time we all had a conversation about fan maintenance, even good quality fans need a little TLC and if you spend more on a fan then it is probably wise to keep it running as smooth as silk!

I think this is do to bad wiring I use a little oil on my fans to and they run fine 24/7 I have a monkey fan that's been going over a year the problem isn't just a cheap fan that can burn your house down but the way they deal with it

There are like dozen reviews of visosun fans catching fire

This brings up something I actually saw recently. They actually make and sell fire extinguisher balls. Basically mount in area of concern and if there is a fire the balls explode from the heat releasing extinguishing agent to put out fire.

Pretty expensive but maybe cheaper competitor out there. https://autofireguard.com/

Safety comes first

Quality is important :hump: We spend a significant amount in nutrients and grab the cheapest exhaust fans we can find lol. I have a 3 year old iPower inline that still works but it's damn inefficient compared to AC infinity and others
