We got some cool rain today, some much appreciated respite from the summer heat.
My vacay starts in a couple of days, and I finally get to try combining sous-vide with BBQ.

A half hour or so from the city are some real farmer's markets-run by the farmers...
There will be super-sweet corn, salad stuff, orchard fruit...and a big smile on my face!

We have a year around, indoor farmer's market. I buy all my fruit and vegetables there that I don't grow myself. However, their tomatoes are not as sweet as mine! I've got some cherry tomatoes I call Candy.
