Cool fish! Yeah, I think that accidentally pressing one of the preset blue buttons is what started the timer acting funny but even after re-entering the time and custom on and off the issue persists. Thanks for responding and I'm glad it's working for you and your hungry Hippos!
I couldn't figure it out so I bought a new one, same model... hope this one doesn't get wonky. I did have an idea about how to maybe fix it after I had already replaced it. I'm letting it's battery run out completely and hopefully it will reset internally when it shuts off due to lack of power maybe re-initiating it will zap it back to functionality. Good luck and I'll let you know if it comes back from the grave or if it is a dud as soon as I find out.
Did you let it completely drain of battery power before you plugged it back in or is it just mysteriously working again? Mine has been unplugged for a few days but is still charged :/
See thats what I thought until the next morning when the lights were out again hours before the shut off time even though I changed and tested different custom on and off times it refuses to stay lit through the 18/6 schedule I programmed.
