Grow Mediums Lets make some simple soil

Hey all,

I did my first organic soil in my last run with just 4 main ingredients. And 4 amendments.
OF @ 2 Gallons
HF @ 1 Gallon
Compost @ 1 Gallon
Perlite @ 1 gallon
Dr Earth Home Grown (4-6-3)
Dr Earth Pure Gold (2-2-2)
Dr Earth Flower Girl (3-9-4)
Happy Frog (5-8-2)

I'll be making it for 1 5 Gallon, and 2 3 Gallon bags. I would like to know about how much of the Azomite I should use. I didnt put anything together yet. Just looking for some info. I like the mixed I did for my cherry bomb and it went all the way thru with the first mix.

I do about 1 cup per cubic foot (around 28 liters) of soil. Haven't had any issues from it. Azomite is pretty slow acting.

Or a cup and a half using the above calculation.

I measured out:

5 Gallons OF. (White rain science bag)
3 gallons HF (Black rain science bag)
2 gallon compost (white rain science bag)
1 gallon warm casting (grey cloth bag)
2.75 gallons perlite (black cloth bag)

No amendments yet. Dont know if I should add the Azomite or not. I'm trying to use what I got here in the house. I'm not buying anything else.

I got everything all blended now. It's going to sit for 2 weeks. Seeds just landed yesterday so I got some time left. Got 2 girls almost finished and then on to the next one!!!

One week later. Time to turn!

Turn until you feel its mixed well. Then let sit another week. I'll be turning it again next week. Then the following week also.

Ok, 2nd turn, filled a 3 gallon rain science bag. I will be wetting it to activate the micros that's in the soil with liquid urb.

2 ml liquid urb to 1 quart of rain water.

Didnt add the azomite this round. Didnt know how much to add. Might use it as a top dress if needed.
