@Bigg Al looking good man. BTW. I am on 3rd grow with a soil mix very close to your recipe. I moved to indoor grow and i deployed a heavy defoliation removing almost all fan leaves up to mid flower. The results have been amazing. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. Attached a few photos of my Gelato and Obama Kush in next post.

been reading back from day 1 of the journal. Have a couple questions. Will do one at a time ...

PERLITE

You let this sit, and turn, then hydrate with water and liquid Urb when ready to use.

Do you use any of the other dry amendments for this, or does this recipe have enough nutrients to get your plants through to the first top dressing at day 21?

Question on your compost teas.
You have done 3 teas in this journal for bloom.
the middle tea was heavier on
Molasses
Easy weed
Terp
Happy frog
Flower girl

was this just what was used at the time, or do you use a heavier nutrient level on teas later in flower ?

the third tea you brewed you made it in a 2 step process. Do you always try to build it in this 2 steps when brewing? You brew the first stage for 24 hours then add then next set of amendments. You are still brewing for a total of 36 hours? The brewing of the first stage is not adding on another 24 hours, it is just part of the total 36 hour brew time for your teas ?

Up here in Canada I can't find dr earth, but we have Gaia Green. My new simple autflower soil is:
4 gallon promix HP
1 gallon perlite
1/4 cup dolomite lime
mix and then divide in 1/2
in 1/2 mix in 2 cups worm castings, 1/4 cup all purpose 4-4-4 and 1/4 cup bloom 2-8-4
put the fertilized 1/2 in the bottom of a 5 gal pot. Then the promix& perlite on top.

@ 4 weeks I top dress 2tbsp 4-4-4 & 3 tbsp 2-8-4 and 1/4 cup worm castings.

I also add blue sky myco around the seed and water with liquid kelp every few weeks and make compost tea every 4 weeks.
