Outdoor Let the games begin : Season 4 DP, Dinafem, Sweet, Delicious

For sure, too much N will give you fluffy buds, but I see outdoor growing more dangerous, so for me is not an option I walk around every other day with bottle of nutes. Some NPK tabs and rain is my friend.
Right now, I must figure out and test my native soil. I will plant some seeds in soil, and some in soil from store to compare results in the end of summer.

I wish I was you, ha-ha. :d5:

If your Ph is in the right range, and your drainage is good, then your native soil should suit you well....Ive always said that hardwood leaf compost is better than any store bought soil, and that alone will ride you through quite a bit of the early veg by itself, especialy if you are working a wide shallow hole. Remember those giant photos i grow only get a deep shovelful of worked soil...weed does not need deep worked soil unless you live in the desert. It will do better when you force side feeder roots through the top foot of loose easily penetrated soil through ample available nutrients. The nature of the beast is the deeper your soil goes the more compacted it will be, which will slow penetration and eventually hinder root mass to some degree. I am all about shallow holes, shit, it's easier on the back too!! ;)

Full sun(especially when timed properly to make the peak of the flower coincide with the longest day of the season) with the proper available nutrients = success!!

I will try with autos this first time, as I have experience with them. My goal is 60g per auto, we will see.
Thank you for info about holes, this should be easy now.

And good luck with your grows, they are amazing! :d5:

How is the sunshine where you are? How many hours of daylight on the longest day(june 21st)? Starting indoors for 30 and then outdoors? Not sure if you are running any, but hands down the Dinafem AWW XXL is some of the strongest outdoor genetics i have seen for autos.

Dinafem AWW XXL 43" in height

Daylight is 16 hours, but sunshine is 7 hours. In july sunshine is 7.9 hours. Whatever this means? I found open space, I think at least 6 hours there is full sun with no shadows.
Starting for 21 days indoors, yes. With bottled nutes to get them as big as possible. Then I will dig some holes and put soil from store, and put NPK tabs in. Control group will be just with native soil and NPK tabs, to compare yield.
I have some WW XXL seeds, indoors she gives me 175g in 82 days.
I will try with Green poison F1 fast too. Just to see if they get bigger than autos.

I won't sugar coat it....getting 2 ounces per in limited light such as 6 hours is going to be a challenge!! My secondary spot(the partial sun garden) gets 8 hours of sun at best, and only the biggest autos will pull more than 2 ounces. One the average i pull 1oz, due to the lack of light.
If you choose the biggest producers like the Dinafem XXLs and DPs Auto ULtimate, then you do have a shot at 2oz+, if you don't make any errors, and weather is decent to good.

I'm confused....16 hours of daylight and only 7.9 is sunny? That is very similar to my situation....15.5 hours of daylight on the 21st of june, but in the partial garden the plants only get 8 due to huge trees shading them out for most of the day.

I found those infos at various internet sites. But as I said, I have been there couple of times and at least 5-6 hours is full sun. This is the best place I can find. Safety first.

So I guess it's gonna be exciting! :shooty:

Green poison F1 fast, WW XXL and AU it's gonna be choice! :bighug:
