I have actually changed my mind and am now going HID... but, for the sake of SCIENCE!, and anyone who might give a shit - here is the quote on the LEDs I was going to get from ADALed @ Aliexpress.

This was for 4 200w (that's draw wattage, not LED wattage) Apollo6s with daisy chain power cord (US), all white exterior parts, a 5:9:1 ratio (2 x 6500k (cool white) , 1 x 430nm, 2 x 455nm (blues) : 9 red: (1 x 630nm, 4 x 640nm, 3 x 660nm): 1 infrared (730nm)), with white and IR LEDs on 120 degree lenses and all other LEDs on 90degree lenses.

"For your ratio with 6 pcs together ir730 in Apollo6, daisy chain power cord, the unit price is US$291 free shipping.
For 4 Apollo6s, it will be $291*4=$1164, and with 4 units combine shipping, it will save up $130 shipping cost.
So the final price would be $1164-$130=$1034. And I can cut $34 special for you which is the best I can do. $1000 final price.

Hey guys I've been having fun searching and negotiating with some of these led companies. I have noticed that alot of them have 24 hour live chat options and seems like they would sell their first born to make a sale. I'm figuring out real quick that you can make them compete against each other on prices. I will continue to search them and see if i can get some consistant prices out of them. I will post my findings on here.

The best price I've been quoted was a Apollo 8 for $208. And $78. For shipping to my door. That's just the best I've found on the Apollo. I've got lots of quotes on a whole bunch of different styles and types. I've found a blackstar 240w for $170 and free shipping. I have yet to pull the trigger on anything because I'm not in a hurry. There are deals to be found out there. There is also some junk out there that they will sell you with no problem at all. I've mainly been looking up only what ive seen used on here but there is alot of new interesting stuff out there as well. If somebody is looking for a led and knows exactly what they want I would love to see what deal I could get them. Just for the challenge.

I'd be surprised if the blackstar you have found uses the same components as Gotham does for there original blackstar mate.iv seeen loads of snides coming out of china on alibaba.one thing to keep in mind is these Chinese companies know which LEDs are popular and copy the branding & look of these LEDs. Iv seen good results with the Apollo though they seem legit.

The wifey just got me a Bysen SP111D for my birthday, it's nice.. super bright, quiet, runs cool... the nice thing about bysen, is they're a copied brand by other chinese companies - so you know they've gotta work. :roflcry:

Uploading some journal shots right now.. (shameless plug) Bysen quoted me 1235 for 4x SP111D.. but I'm probably going to go with a larger model for the space I want to cover and just get 2 for the same price..

Bysen ships 2 day fedex international.. just fyi why the shipping is so much.

Yea alot'of buyers beware out there. I do like the Apollos. I have a blackstar from Gotham and my bud has a blackstar from "china" we both have the same thing. He spent $90 less.
