New Grower led lights

hello afn menbers what a great site.need advice, about to make a purchase of leds 1. 300w prakasa seven spectrum and 2. 180w prakasa together they come in at £560 they are on growlights.com i got the link from another thread. is this a good deal my room size is 1.2mtrs x 1.5mtrs thanks fellow stoners

Hmm, I've never heard of or used that brand so I can't really comment on them. If another member recommended it I'm sure they'll speak up on it soon. I do own a Blackstar 240 and have only good things to say about it, so LEDs definitely work.

Those two lights won't be enough for that area. That's about 20 sq. ft. To effectively light that sized area and maximize your yields I would suggest a total of about 1,000 watts of 3 watt LED panels. That price seems a bit high, at least compared to what quality LEDs are selling for in the US.

Those light are pretty new on the market. I believe there are two people here using them but I think both are still on their first grows with them.

tks muddy, just for reference what area would one 300w light cover . i have an amazon areophonic system 80cm x 80cm. my plan is to put 6 small autos in it.i will be pruning aswell.i only have 800 euros for the lights and i cant afford to be wrong. ill see if i can find the other grows.tks for ur help happy smoking, H.

A 300 watter should effectively light 6 - 8 sq. ft., so an area roughly 2.5' x 3'. You should easily be able to grow 6 plants under it.

I got my blackstar from Gotham Hydroponics and it works like a charm. Of course, I'm in America and don't have to worry about shipping, import tax, ect ect. I've heard they have a distributor in the uk/Europe but I can't be quoted on that. I'd say as far as value for cash blackstars are a great bargain.
