Indoor LED, Aeroponic and Cropking Purple Kush THC blowout

Day 3 - (Day 10 from seed. )
Most seem to count from the time they sprout first true leaves, so let's say day 3. I'll go with that and just add a week to tally total seed to weed time after all is done.

Temps averaging 75.
PPM level 599
Relative humidity 47%

rez temps of anything above 70 degrees is going to be a problem with root growth.ideally 67 degrees is the temp to shot for.

tank temperature & % of oxygen in the solution (ppm)
10ºc (50ºf) 13 ppm

20ºc (68ºf) 9-10 ppm

30º (86ºf) 7 ppm
when i used a system similar to yours i flooded 4 times a day for 3 mins once just before lights on two during lights on and one time a half hour before lights out.being new to autos and the lights being on for at least another 6 hours in flower id likely use 3 floods during the lights on period.hope this helps!!!

a way to bring your res temps down without buying a chiller is using dry ice in your rez!!!!this takes a bit of monitoring at the start to figure out the amount of ice(put in a sealable container) and how often but a pattern soon is discovered.i used this method till i purchased a chiller.

It's not a flood and drain system. What I'm thinking about more than anything is diverting some of the dedicated A/C air flow to the reservoir. But I'll admit I'm not nearly as nervous about reservoir temps as I used to be. My last harvest was pretty reasonable at around a pound in 68 days (from dropping seeds in water) with 880w 660 actual output.

So it might not be optimal but it works pretty well. I wish I could afford a chiller and more light and co-2 and higher grow space, too, but I'll have to work with what I've got this time around.

Other grow methods would have similar root zone temperatures but without the constant availability that aeroponic said provides. So aeroponic is arguably more effective than soil even if it isn't maximized.

Everything is a trade off.

After a tough start, we are about a week into 12/12 flowering.

Initially, lots of problems showed up. Nearly list them due to compounding issues of deficiencies and Ph issues. Root rot nearly took them out before I figured out the problem.

I didn't oh the waterfor germination and I think that was a problem. Didn't add enough calmag and had severe leaf damage all over. That fed the root rot that took over and nearly finished them off.

I got there's temps down to average 72 using the room a/c output directed to the reservoir tank, cooling it radiation ally from the outside.

Maintaining res ppm T 950. Room temps avg 75-75f. Res temps not ideal but averaging 72-73. Roots Snow White. Canopy very even and full now .

Looking good though we lost 1 plant and stunted another. We've got six that look like they'll do very well

The volume of roots in the reservoir is amazing. I haven't seen anything like it with this unit yet. There is potential for really explosive growth with a root mass like this

Glad you found the cause of your problems dude. Good luck with the remaining 6

Day 12 of flowering.

Keeping the nutes atound 950 ppm and checking them twice daily. The ph is holding steady and I'm boosting nutes with GH Liquid Koolbloom and AN Big Bud.

Keeping the cal-mag going in small doses, too. The overall health and vitality are good to very good right now.

6 more weeks.

Thanks. I'm watching her like a hawk because of how it went last time.

Grew them with northern lights and white widow. Big mistake. The widow and NL were happy but the three purple kush plants suffered badly with nitrogen toxicity. Only one actually finished.

So I swore never to grow those out with anything else ever again.

But man, what popcorn buds I got (half ounce or so) were really too shelf potency wise. Strongest stuff I've ever grown and probably strongest I've ever smoked.
